Congressman Eric Sorensen Statement on Tragic Shooting in Minneapolis

Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) issued the following statement after learning of the tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church and School in Minneapolis.

“I am having trouble finding the words to express my feelings learning that children are among the dead in the sanctuary of a Minneapolis church,” said Congressman Sorensen. “I have reached out to Bishop Malloy of the Rockford Diocese and Bishop Tylka of the Peoria Diocese to offer my condolences and support to every parishioner. We must move forward together with a resolution of peace and purpose in a time when hate has caused so much violence.”
