FY27 House Appropriations Guidance
As the Representative of Illinois' 17th Congressional District, I work to ensure that our federal government invests in the policies and programs that help our communities, our state, and our nation move forward.
There are three types of appropriations requests:
- Programmatic Requests
- Language Requests
- Community Project Requests
Important: This page is strictly for Programmatic and Language requests, not Community Project Funding. Any requests for Community Project Funding submitted through the FY27 appropriations programmatic request form will NOT be considered.
Request Types
- Programmatic Requests: Members may submit a request to fund a specific program or activity in the bill at a specified level.
- Language Requests: Members may submit a request to include specific bill or report language that does not direct funding to a particular entity but encourages, urges, or directs some type of action.
Only one programmatic or language request is permitted per submission. You will not have an opportunity to edit or amend a request after submission.
If you have multiple requests, please submit a separate request for each.
