Women in unions meet with Rep. Sorensen to discuss workplace concerns

Women in unions met with Illinois congressman Eric Sorensen to discuss what congress can do for them in the workplace.

They held a roundtable conversation and discussed topics like the high price of childcare, including finding the time to bring their kids to childcare while balancing their work schedule. Attendees also talked about the value of having more women in leadership positions.

The conversation focused on including women in union contract negotiations so they have better representation.
