Sorensen Launches 2024 Hearts for Heroes Drive

ROCK ISLAND, IL – Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) is announcing the launch of his 2024 Hearts for Heroes drive.  

Students and community members in Illinois’ 17th Congressional District are invited to create handmade Valentine’s Day cards and deliver them to Sorensen’s Rock Island Office between Friday, February 2 and Monday, February 12, 2024. Cards will be distributed by Sorensen and staff to veterans and first responders across Central and Northwestern Illinois. 

“Our veterans and first responders sacrifice so much to keep our neighborhoods safe and healthy,” said Sorensen. “My Hearts for Heroes drive gives us a chance to show our appreciation to those who are always there for us in those moments where we need help.” 

QUAD CITIES AREA: Participants can deliver or mail cards to Sorensen’s Rock Island Office at 2401 4th Avenue Rock Island, IL 61201, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. 

ROCKFORD AREA: Participants in the Rockford area can deliver or mail cards to Sorensen’s Rockford Office at 401 E. State Street, Ground Floor, Rockford, IL 61104, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. 

PEORIA AREA: Participants in the Peoria area can deliver cards to one of the selected locations during the following hours:
