Sorensen on WMBD: I Will Always Fight to Veterans in Central and Northwestern Illinois

On Friday, May 24, 2024, Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) appeared on WMBD to discuss his efforts to secure a Purple Heart and Bronze Star for local veteran Roy Swanson, who was never formally presented with them. Sorensen held an official medal presentation ceremony on Memorial Day to recognize Swanson and his heroism during his service in the Vietnam War.
