Sorensen on WYZZ: $14.4 Million Coming to Peoria and Rock Island to Improve Public Transit

On Tuesday, July 9, 2024, Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) announced over $14.4 million coming to Peoria and Rock Island counties to improve mass transit by switching from diesel buses to electric buses. This funding is coming from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
