PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) announced Thursday that the Peoria-based OSF HealthCare System is receiving funding to expand nurse training throughout the state.

ROCKFORD — The head of the U.S. Small Business Administration stopped in Rockford on Thursday with Congressman Eric Sorensen to meet with local entrepreneurs and learn what they need to ensure their success.
ROCKFORD — Congressmen Eric Sorensen and the United States Small Business Administration visited Downtown Rockford Thursday. They hosted a roundtable with local businesses and toured local businesses.
This was done as a way to learn more about how they utilize U.S. Small Business Administration funding.
PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — Rep. Eric Sorensen (D-17th District) continues with visits to Peoria, today visiting local labor leaders at Engineers Union Local 649.
Among the issues discussed were infrastructure, electric vehicles, and bringing better jobs to the region. Rep. Sorensen said he wants to have these discussions with constituents.
