I have spoken to way too many neighbors and friends who pay too much for life-saving prescription drugs and health insurance and still have trouble getting access to the care they need to survive.
I believe everyone has the right to be healthy, which is why I’m working in Congress to make health care more affordable, accessible, and efficient.
I believe we need to protect and expand the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to ensure preexisting conditions are covered. I also support solutions that bring down the cost of prescription drugs, like allowing Medicare to negotiate with pharmaceutical companies.
Rural communities across our district experience barriers to receiving care. I will always work in Congress to make sure these groups in Central and Northwestern Illinois aren’t left behind and that they have adequate and affordable health care options.
